Cannon Artes will design and manufacture cycle water treatment units for SDCI's EO/EG production technology.

Cannon Artes signed a milestone partnership agreement with Scientific Design Company Inc., USA.
Scientific Design Company Inc. (SDCI) is the world leader in licensing Ethylene Oxide/Ethylene Glycol (EO/EG) production technology. Under this new cooperation with SDCI, Cannon Artes will be one of the few globally approved designers/manufacturers of the cycle water treatment unit.
This unit is a critical component in an EO/EG plant and enables substantial recovery and reuse of water within the plant, saving significant amounts of water.
Ethylene Oxide and Ethylene Glycol are important building blocks in the chemical sector and are used in many key derivative processes to make a wide variety of industrial and consumer goods, including polyester fibers, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles, and antifreeze. About 15% of the worldwide production of ethylene goes into EO / EG.
