A global leader in premium drinks

A company committed to building and sustaining exceptional brands, from centuries-old names to the latest innovations.

The challenge

A major UK-based multinational in the beverage sector needed to replace an outdated demineralization plant, no longer able to deliver the required performance for production.
The goal was to install a new system capable of treating well water and producing demineralized water with conductivity < 3 µS/cm. The treated water had to be odorless, colorless, and free from substances that could compromise the quality of the final product.

The project

Our team designed a plant capable of effectively removing both anionic and cationic compounds, ensuring consistent quality over time and full compliance with strict food safety standards.

Thanks to careful planning and coordination between engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and service, we delivered a turnkey solution, including installation, commissioning, and start-up.

The supplied solution

The new plant consists of pressure vessels with cationic and anionic ion-exchange resins, a degassing tower for CO₂ removal, all necessary accessories for regeneration phases, and a dedicated PLC.
All components in contact with water — resins, ebonite-coated linings, piping, valves, and instruments — were supplied with FDA certification, guaranteeing complete suitability for contact with the final product.

The plant treats 40 m³/h of well water and consistently supplies demineralized water in line with the required specifications, ensuring continuity and stable quality in alcoholic beverage production.
